ARE YOU AGE 65 OR OLDER?
If you are age 65 or older, you can ride RFTA regional routes for FREE. RFTA’s regional routes include VelociRFTA BRT, Roaring Fork Valley Local and Rifle-Hogback.
SHOW A VALID PHOTO ID
In order to qualify for the senior free fare, you must declare your status “I’m a senior,” to the driver when boarding the bus and show a valid Photo ID to prove your age. These forms of ID are accepted for boarding RFTA buses:- RFTA Senior ID Pass (see below)
- State or Government issued photo ID
TO OBTAIN A RFTA SENIOR ID PASS:
Senior ID Passes are FREE and used for easy access boarding on RFTA buses. Simply show your Senior ID Pass to the driver and board the bus. Your pass may be in a card format or a digital version via our RFTA Mobile Tickets AppINSTRUCTIONS
If you are 65+, please fill out the form below. In addition to the form, please include: a copy of a valid photo ID to prove age, and a current photo of yourself to be used on your pass. Your full face must be clear and visible, or a new photo may be requested.
All requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. In person at one of the listed RFTA Customer Service locations below:

- Open: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, excluding major holidays.
- Blake Ave Office (Glenwood Springs): 1517 Blake Ave, Suite 201, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
- Open: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, excluding major holidays.
- AMF (Aspen Maintenance Facility): 0051 Service Center Road, Aspen, CO 81611.
3. Mail all requested items (form, copy of ID, current photo) to one of the RFTA Customer Service locations listed above. Please allow 7-10 days for processing and mailing.
A completed order form is required to process your Senior ID Pass order.
